January, 2010: Advagraf (Astellas) launched in Latvia. Prevenar (Wyeth conjugated pneumococcal vaccine) gained NIP inclusion in Latvia.
March, 2010: “Taking a Leader Brand and driving it Sky High”: Depon in Greece reached the market record of 59,29 %. Contract renewal between BMS Hellas and PharmaSwiss Hellas for Procef, Monopril, Superace. Acquisition of BMS’s OTC product COUNTERPAIN in Greece. Contract renewal: BMS Hellas & PharmaSwiss Hellas for Depon portfolio. PharmaSwiss Bosnia and Herzegovina took over Pentasa MA from Nycomed.
April, 2010: Swiss Relief Dual Release 75mg (diclofenac sodium dual release formulation) launched very successfully in Israel.
July, 2010: Binevol 5mg (PharmaSwiss brand for Nebivolol, the third generation beta-blocker with vasodilatation properties) was launched in Serbia and Montenegro. Several PharmaSwiss brands of antibiotics (Merocid/meropenem, Mipecid/imipenem, Planicid/teicoplanin) launched in Serbia and Montenegro during the first half of 2010. On July 1st 2010 a new business unit opened within PharmaSwiss Hellas. PharmaSwiss became the sole representative & exclusive distributor of Covidien (Tyco Healthcare) Medical Devices for Greece & Cyprus. Taking in charge of public & private business amounting to more than 30 million Euros and incorporating part of Covidien’s marketing & functional services team into PharmaSwiss’ Greek operations.
